Salim Admon Wins Stairway To Millions Event #4
On Sunday afternoon, Salim Admon found his way to the winner’s circle of 2022 Stairway To Millions Event #4: $8,400 NL Hold’em. Admon topped a field of 56 entries to win the $138,880 first-place prize.

The largest score on Admon’s record came in a PGT-qualifying event in 2021, when he placed fourth in the Wynn Millions tournament for $619,160. In 2020, Admon took second in an MSPT event at Venetian for just under $220,000. Although bigger scores in terms of dollar amount, Admon pointed out how good it feels to get a victory of this magnitude.
“It feels really, really good,” Admon said. “I’ve come close a couple of times and it’s not the same. I’ve actually had a bigger cash, but this feels a little bit better.”
Admon topped Jesse Lonis in heads-up play, with start-of-day chip leader Chris Brewer taking third place.
There were 56 entries in Stairway To Millions Event #4: $8,400 NL Hold’em, creating a $448,000 prize pool. The top eight finishers placed in the money. Finishing outside the live-streamed final table were Shannon Shorr (7th – $26,880) and Michael Lang (8th – $22,400). Everyone to cash won an entry into Event #5: $15,800 NL Hold’em as part of their winnings.

Chris Brewer is the chip leader with 1,670,000 in chips ahead of Jesse Lonis, Salim Admon, Jeremy Ausmus, Bill Klein, and Nick Petrangelo. The final six players are guaranteed $31,360 in prize money and a seat into Event #5, while all eyes are on the $138,880 first-place prize. All eight players that cashed in Event #4 have qualified into Event #5: $15,000 No-Limit Hold’em which begins at 12 p.m. PT from inside the PokerGO Studio.
