Alex Foxen Raises River on Phil Hellmuth
Alex Foxen opened the hijack to 55,000 and Phil Hellmuth defended the big blind.
The dealer spread the [ksts5d] flop and Hellmuth check-raised a bet of 35,000 up to 75,000. Foxen called.
Hellmuth checked dark as the [Kc] turn hit the felt, and Foxen checked as well.
The [qd] completed the board and Hellmuth led for 150,000. Foxen used a time extension and eventually raised to 525,000, causing Hellmuth to fold.
“This is f****** absurd,” Hellmuth repeated, referencing the recurring battle he’s had with Foxen throughout the day.
