Negreanu Finishes 33rd in $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw for $4,718

Daniel Negreanu began his 2022 WSOP in-the-money results with a 33rd-place finish in Event #17: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball. The field size was 309 entries and Negreanu cashed for $4,718. Although it wasn’t the biggest cash result for Negreanu, it got him on the board at the 2022 World Series of Poker.

Negreanu Finishes 16th in $25,000 PLO High Roller for $57,738

In the 264-entry Event #19: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller, Negreanu found his way into the money and placed 16th for a payday of $57,738. According to tournament updates on WSOP.com, Negreanu was eliminated by Jonathan Depa when the two got the money in on the nine-eight-five flop. There were two diamonds on the flop and Negreanu had queen-eight-seven-two with two diamonds. Depa had ace-nine-eight-six. Non-diamond tens hit the turn and river to eliminate Negreanu.

Negreanu Finishes 12th in $10,000 Stud Hi-Lo Championship for $20,448

In Event #40: $10,000 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo Championship, Negreanu posted another deep run that fell short of the final table when he placed 12th from a field of 137 entries. Negreanu cashed for $20,448 with this result.

Negreanu Finishes 106th in $5,000 6-Handed NL Hold’em for $8,807

In Event #46: $5,000 6-Handed NL Hold’em, Negreanu advanced to Day 2 of the tournament and maneuvered his way into the money. Negreanu busted in 106th place when his king-five of hearts couldn’t beat the pocket sixes of his opponent. Negreanu even turned a flush draw but couldn’t hit.

Negreanu Finishes 13th in $2,500 9-Game Mix for $10,367

In Event #52: $2,500 Nine Game Mix, Negreanu advanced to Day 3 and made a run at reaching his first final table of the series. Negreanu was eliminated in 13th place when he was all-in with ace-deuce in an orbit of Limit Hold’em against KT Park who held a dominated king-deuce. Unfortunately for the six-time WSOP bracelet winner, a king landed on the river, and he was eliminated in 13th place for $10,367 in prize money.
