The World Poker Tour Seminole Rock ‘N Roll Poker Open saw its field whittle down from 52 players to just 14 on the third day of play with tour regular James Rann grabbing the chip lead. Heading into the fourth day of play on Tuesday, however, a lot of eyes will be on MLS player Brent Kallman who represents his Minnesota United FC both at the poker tables and on the pitch.

While Rann’s chip lead with 5.8 million chips is still a while away for Kallman, his 1.5 million chips puts him comfortably in the middle of the pack. According to an interview on WPT.com, Kallman enjoys a game of poker in the off-season and this is his largest buy-in tournament to date. Kallman has played for Minnesota United FC since its inaugural season in 2016 and extended his contract last week.

The last remaining WPT Champions Club member in the field is Ravi Raghavan who ran up his short stack and comes into the fourth day of play with just shy of 1.1 million chips.
The following notable players were eliminated during play on Day 3, David Peters (51st – $9,895), Loni Harwood (50th – $9,895), Michael Tureniec (49th – $9,895), Vinny Pahuja (47th – $11,250), Aaron Massey (45th – $11,250), WPT Champions Club member Erkut Yilmaz (43rd – $11,250), Joe McKeehen (37th – $12,955), WPT Champions Club member Jonathan Jaffe (34th – $12,955), WPT Season Season X Player of the Year Joe Serock (30th – $15,105), and Phil Hui (16th – $21,305).
The chip counts heading into the fourth day of play are as follows as play will bring the field down to its final table of six on Tuesday.
