Stephen Chidwick raised to 65,000 from middle position and Igor Kurganov moved all in on the button for 350,000. Talal Shakerchi moved all in out of the small blind for 1,560,000 and Chidwick folded.
Shakerchi was in great shape with his [ts][tc] against Kurganov’s [7c][7h].
Kurganov picked up equity on a flop of [9d][8h][5h], but the [4c] on the turn doesn’t change anything. Kurganov grabbed his jacked and got up from his chair as the [as] came on the river. Shakerchi won the pot and Kurganov exited in sixth-place for $756,000.
