Welcome to the ARIA Resort & Casino and the PokerGO Studio for the 2019 U.S. Poker Open and Event #2 – $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha.
Coverage is set to get underway at 5 p.m. EST in this $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha tournament that drew 64 entries last year. Back then, Mike Gorodinsky came out on top to take home $179,200, and this year the early indications are that this event could eclipse last year’s turnout. Gorodinsky defeated a final table that included Cary Katz, Andjelko Andrejevic, Anthony Zinno, Rainer Kempe, and Richard Kirsch heads-up.

Wednesday saw the beginning of the U.S. Poker Open with Event #1 – $10,000 No Limit Hold’em attracting a total of 90 entries. Joseph Cheong collected the chip lead once play concluded with just six players. Cheong will headline a final table that includes defending U.S. Poker Open Champion Stephen Chidwick, high roller regular Sean Winter, and other notable players Joseph Orsino, Lazaro Hernandez, and Joseph Cappello.

Today will see the second event of the U.S. Poker Open with Event #2: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha. Players will begin with 125,000 in starting chips and be playing 30-minute levels with play ending once the final table is down to six players. There are no tournament fees for players who register by 2 p.m. (PST) and each player is allowed two re-entries through the first nine levels (ending approximately 6:20 p.m. local time). There is also a 30-second shot clock in play for the duration of the tournament and each player will receive three 60-second time banks each day.
The cards are expected to be in the air for Event #2 of the 2019 U.S. Poker Open at 5 p.m. (EST) with the Poker Central Live Reporting team providing continuous live updates until just six players remain.
