Chance Kornuth proves that those who teach can also do.
The Colorado native has performed at a high level on the felt and as a poker coach. He founded the poker training site Chip Leader Coaching and hired some top-notch instructors, including Joe McKeehen, Daniel Strelitz, and Ryan Laplante.
Chip Leader Coaching’s main focus is to turn mid-stakes grinders into high-stakes crushers. It has quickly become one of the top poker training academies in the world. Kornuth’s site offers group coaching, personal attention, and videos to train students on how to become top-notch poker players.
He certainly has the proven poker talents to run such a business. On the felt, Chance has over $6.2 million in live tournament cashes. That includes two WSOP bracelets – one an online bracelet in $3,200 No Limit Hold’em in 2018 and the other $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha in 2010.
Kornuth, 32, is effectively tied with Pratyush Buddiga for second place on Colorado’s all-time winnings list, but far behind the leader, Steve O’Dwyer who has over $26 million in cashes.
Chance is one of the most upbeat poker players in the game. He’s active on social media and frequently engages in positive conversations with fellow poker players and fans.
Kornuth has found success in poker tournaments and cash games all over the world. He’s won World Series of Poker, Aussie Millions, and European Poker Tour events throughout his career.
