Through the Lens: Magicians, Pizza, and Previous Champions

THE WSOP MAIN EVENT IS DOWN TO DOUBLE DIGITS

Things are starting to get very real in the 2019 WSOP Main Event. There are fewer than 100 players remaining as Day 6 is already underway. Day 5 brought out some big storylines, as we watched three-time Super Bowl Champion Richard Seymour fall short in 131st place, Jill Bryant was the last woman standing, and a previous World Champion showed up with pizza, as his son tries to etch his name in poker history. Here is a look at my favorite images from Day 5.

The look says it all. Super Bowl Champion Richard Seymour picked the wrong time to make a move with his short stack on the button, as both the small blind and big blind woke up with hands. Seymour was eliminated in 131st place.
Everyone loves pizza including 2005 Main Event Champ Joe Hachem. Hachem brought a pie to feed his son, Daniel, who is currently making a run in this years Main Event.
Jill Bryant is the last woman standing in this years main event. When Bryant was informed of the feat, she quietly got up from the table and walked over to call a few of her friends to break the news.
Mike “the Mouth” Matusow heads to the payout cage after being eliminated from the Main Event.
Antonio “the Magician” Esfandiari, the highest earning WSOP player of all time. Esfandiari is still in the Main Event trying to chase down his 4th WSOP bracelet.
