“Pot” is All Watson Knows
When inquiring with Mike Watson what happened prior to when we picked up the action on the turn after he raked in a nice pot, he said the following.
“Pot, then pot, and all in,” the Canadian pro said with a smile.
Piecing the action back together brings us to the hand having played out as follows.
George Wolff raised to 7,000 from the button and Watson three-bet pot from the big blind which was called by Wolff.
The flop brought out [Td9s2d] and Watson bet 47,000 after which Wolff called. On the turn, the [9h] hit and Watson moved all in for what looked like 57,000. Wolff folded quickly and Watson raked in the pot right after busting the £10,000 No-Limit Hold’em opening event on the bubble.
