Through the Lens: Gold for Greenwood, Four Card Fun

WATCH THE BRITISH POKER OPEN EXCLUSIVELY ON POKERGO

Day 2 of the British Poker Open has come to its conclusion, as Event #1 played down to a winner, and Event #2 has reached the final table.

To start the day, Luc Greenwood took down Event #1 after defeating Steve O’Dwyer heads-up. This puts Greenwood in the best spot possible as the British Poker Open Championship points race is officially underway. Event 2 is the £10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event, in which we saw 37 entrants. Here are some of my favorite photos from today!

Robert Flink came into the final table with the shortest stack, but managed to run it up eventually finishing 3rd.
I shot this photo right as heads-up play began. O’Dwyer started with a huge chip deficit and doubled the first hand back. After chopping his next all in, the third time was not a charm for O’Dwyer as Greenwood eliminated him from play.

After Event 1 completed, all focus shifted to Event 2, the £10,000 PLO event. George Wolff put on a clinic, bagging the chip lead heading into the final table tomorrow way out in front of the other fire players.
Sam Soverel will take the second-biggest stack into tomorrows final table. The action picks up at 8 am EST exclusively on PokerGO.
