All three players went to see a flop here in Event #2 of the British Poker Open, as the £10,000 PLO final builds to a climax.
Here were the hands the three called with.
George Wolff: [8s7c6d4d]
Stephen Chidwick [Adjd7h3h]
Sam Soverel [AhTc5h4c]
A flop of [2hQd6h] saw Chidwick bet 110,000 and only get a call from Sam Soverel, but on the turn [2d], Chidwick moved to bet 300,000, covering Soverel’s stack, setting him all-in.
Soverel, who used a time bank chip of an extra 60 seconds, had a huge decision to consider but eventually made the call, and needed one of 13 outs to survive. Unlucky for someone.
Any heart would do for Soverel to double and the river of [Qh] meant he did just that. George Wolff retains his lead, but Soverel and Chidwick swap places in his wake.
