There are some very fluid chipstacks right now three-handed in this Event #2 final table and at the latest break, it’s Sam Soverel who is rising in the counts.
Stephen Chidwick had [Jh9s9c4c] against Soverel’s hand of [AcKh5c3d] on a board of [4s8dQs4d], which saw Chidwick bet again to sneak over a million chips.
Soverel then bet 105,000 which was called by chip leader George Wolff. Soverel’s hand of [QcTd9d8d] hit the flop of [Jd7s8s] well, with Wolff’s [AdQs6h2d] behind at that stage. Both players checked flop and turn of [2s], but the [9c] river saw Soverel lead out for 120,000, taking down the pot.
Chidwick’s hand of [AsTh6c6d] then flopped bottom set against Wolff’s [AhQc7h5d] with the flop coming a dramatic [6h9c8d]. Chidwick’s bet of 45,000 was only called by Wolff, but the turn [Qs] and river of [Ts] saw both players check it down and Wolff revealed his straight to win the hand.
