Sam Soverel will have to re-enter if he wants to win back-to-back British Poker Open titles.
The BPO points leader and Event #5 winner just fell to Timothy Adams – who has skyrocketed over a half-million chips.
Action was missed, but both players rivered a straight on [Tx9x8x6xJx]. The only problem for Soverel was that Adams held [KxQx] for the nut straight, which led Soverel to believe he was “cheated.”
“You just won a tournament and you’re complaining!” Michael Zhang said, as Soverel left the tournament area “tilted.”
