Welcome to Event #8 £25,000 NLH
The British Poker Open is on the home stretch as just three events remain on the schedule with Event #8 £25,000 NLH taking center stage from the Aspers Casino in Stratford, London.
This is the third £25,000 NLH buy-in tournament of the British Poker Open, and for the final two events, the buy-in will kick-up to £50,000 and £100,000. Sam Soverel won Event #5 £25,000 NLH when he defeated the 28-entrant field to capture the £322,000 first-place prize and first British Poker Open title. Event #6 £25,000 NLH was won by Sergi Reixach when he defeated the 22-entrant field for the £253,000 first-place prize and first British Poker Open title.
On the back of Soverel’s victory in Event #5, he held a mammoth lead in the British Poker Open title leaderboard, and with his appearance at the Event #7 final table as chip leader that will conclude today, he is likely to increase his lead even further.
Play begins in Event #8 £25,000 NLH at 12 p.m. local time with registration open until the start of level 10.
