“Something Changed At The End”
With the board reading [Qs4c7d6s], Kahle Burns led from the big blind for 4,500.
Ali Imsirovic called from under the gun and after the [6d] paired on the board on the end, Burns checked.
Imsirovic bet 17,000 – which was nearly the size of the pot – and after using an extension, Burns check-raised to 92,500.
The Aussie left himself 500 back and after a few seconds, it looked like Ali Imsirovic was about to call. He then said he needed a little more time and used an extension of his own, before saying, “I don’t really buy this shit.”
He re-checked his cards and eventually folded.
“What happened?” Charlie Carrel asked, leading Imsirovic to say, “Something changed on the end.”
What changed remains unknown, but Burns seemed to know where he was from the start.
