3,400,000Barry Hutter Talks Himself Into A Call
Posted August 13, 2021 at 6:16 pm ET by Keegan McCann
Max Corcoran opened to 4,500 from under the gun, and action folded to Barry Hutter in the cutoff, and he three-bet to 12,500. The button and the blinds folded, Corcoran called.
The flop fell [KsJh9d], and Corcoran checked. Hutter continued for 7,000, and Corcoran called.
The dealer burned and turned the [4d], and Corcoran checked for the second time. Hutter fired a second bullet for 10,500, and Corcoran called.
The [8c] hit the felt on the river, and Corcoran fired for 18,500. Hutter used two-time extensions before tossing in the call.
Corcoran tabled [Ad5d] for ace-high, but Hutter tabled [QhQc] for a pair of queens to rake in the pot.
“I had to talk myself into that,” Hutter said as he collected the pot.
