Monday’s “888poker” week opener featured big hands, even bigger coolers, and tons of fast paced action. Tuesday’s finale slowed down a bit, but one thing remained the same. Eli Elezra went back-to-back and got heads up for another Poker After Dark title, beating 888poker qualifier Otto Richard one night after falling to Maria Ho.

The second night of  “888poker” week started with Chris Moorman at the top of the leaderboard. While Moorman chipped up slowly through the early portion of play, it was a pot against Bill Klein that really built his stack.

The early advantage put the online legend in a favorable position, but he couldn’t break away. Instead, the short stacks lingered and Moorman was bounced before the bubble. Unlike the opener though, the 888poker online qualifier didn’t fall before the bubble. Instead, Otto Richard parlayed his $1 investment into huge Poker After Dark payday.

While Richard wasn’t able to turn $1 into $50,000, he did walk away with a cash and the experience of a lifetime. The UK online player, who has had some moderate live poker success, finished 2nd to long-time Poker After Dark favorite Eli Elezra for $20,000.
