Through the Lens: Day 1 of Super High Roller Bowl London

WATCH THE FINAL TABLE OF SUPER HIGH ROLLER BOWL LONDON LIVE ON SATURDAY

With the 2019 British Poker Open coming to a close last night, today was the kick-off for the 2019 Super High Roller Bowl London. This £250,000 buy-in attracted some of the biggest names of in the game, making it a small yet super-elite field. A total of 12 players forked up the quarter of a million, and action was underway.

We saw Michael Addamo fall victim to the tough field as he hit the rail first, followed shortly thereafter by Bryn Kenney. Players continued to fall as we played down to our final 7 players with Christoph Vogelsang in the lead.

Tomorrows streaming final table will kick off at 5pm local time, which is 12:00 pm/EST. Here are some photos from Day 1 of play.

Fresh off his huge win at Triton earlier this year, Bryn Kenney has been out enjoying life. Today was his first event here in London and despite getting off to a hot start, Kenney was eliminated in 11th place out of the players that started the day.
This photos was one of my favorite photos from the day, as Darren Elias was happy, yet surprised to watch himself earn a double. Elias moved all in holding ace-eight against an open from Sam Greenwood, who quickly called and tabled two eights. This was the moment the dealer spread the flop and Elias saw the ace reveal itself.
A look at the set as the final table of the 2019 Super High Roller Bowl London kicked off earlier today from Aspers Casino.
Cary Katz had quite a good day as he chipped up early and maintained it through majority of the day. Katz could surpass Phil Hellmuth on the all-time money list if he wins this event outright tomorrow.
Tomorrow someone is walking away with £2,000,000 and this gorgeous one-of-a-kind Super High Roller Bowl London ring. Be sure to tune into the stream at 12:00 pm/EST.
