A week of World Poker Tour action ended with a marathon final table

The third and final WPT final table from the HyperX Esports Arena at the Luxor Casino has officially ended! In the early hours of Thursday morning, Viny Lima captured his first WPT title along with over $728,000. The record-breaking WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open kicked off with 1415 players and the final six returned yesterday. Dave Farah came into the final table with a sizable chip lead, but would eventually finish 2nd, taking home over $485,000. Here is look back at some of my favorite images from the final table!

WPT talent Caitlyn Howe, Lynn Gilmartin, Tony Dunst, Vince Van Patten, Matt Savage, and Jeannie Duffy joined the final 6 of the WPT Borgata final table for some photos before play started. 
Brandon Hall had a wild start to the final table, as he opened and lost majority of the first hands played. The “strategy” worked in his favor though, as he caught Ian O’Hara with his hands in the cookie jar. Hall opened the cutoff with queens and was the beneficiary to a shove from O’Hara with ace-nine. The queens held and Hall picked up a large pot to put him in a great spot.  
A look at the WPT set at the HyperX Esports arena at the Luxor. Bottom left you can see WPT anchor Lynn Gilmartin on her perch, overlooking the crowd and the final table. The atmosphere at the Luxor was great all week, as fans continued to fill the seats to watch the next WPT champion get crowned. 
Dave Farah came into the final table with 126 big blinds, putting himself way out in front of the rest of the field. Farah was able to leverage this stack all the way into second place, where he came home with over $485,000. Not quite the title run he had envisioned, but a very impressive result regardless.

The WPT Borgata champion, Viny Lima! Lime came into the day with the shortest stack of the six, sitting on just 24 big blinds. After a few early doubles, Lima continued to chip up, eventually taking home the WPT Champions Cup, Hublot watch, and $728,000 top prize.
