Chris Brewer Doubles Through Sam Soverel
Chris Brewer raised under the gun to 2,500 and both Justin Saliba and Sam Soverel called from the button and big blind respectively.
The [TcTd7c] flop checked through to reveal the [Ac] on the turn. Soverel checked and Brewer bet 2,500. Saliba raised to 8,500 before Soverel three-bet to 18,000.
Brewer used a time extension and then made it 28,000. Saliba folded, but Soverel called as the river landed the [8d].
Soverel checked and Brewer bet 66,000 leaving himself just 500 behind. Soverel called and tabled his [AdTh], but it would be Brewer’s [AsAh] that earned him the double.
“I folded a flush,” Saliba said following the hand.
