Aaron Van Blarcum Accidentally Raises
On a flop of [kd][jh][7d] Timothy Adams checked from the small blind and was followed by Aaron Van Blarcum in the big blind. Matthias Eibinger then bet 6,500 from the hijack. Both opponents called.
The [9c] dropped on the turn and Adams checked. Van Blarcum slid out a stack of 5,000-chips which the dealer confirmed as 85,000. Eibinger quickly folded. Adams agonised for a moment before also mucking his hand.
“I counted wrong,” Van Blarcum confessed. “I was meant to bet 17,000.”
The three laughed about the situation after the hand was completed.
