Darren Elias Calls Correct with Ace-High

Table 2 is four-handed and two fo the bigger stacks just clashed in a pot that transferred the chip lead to Darren Elias.
Elias check-called a continuation bet from the small blind, after Mikita Badziakouski bet the [Ts9s2d] flop.
The [5d] came on the turn and Elias check-called again – this time we caught the sizing – after Badziakouski bet 17,000.
The [7h] completed the board and Elias checked for a third time.
Badziakouski quickly bet 55,000 and Elias went into the tank. He used a time extension and with a few seconds left threw in a call.
The Belarusian announced, “King-high.” before Elias tabled [As4s].
Ace-high was better and Elias is now behind the biggest stack in the room.

The big stacked Belarusian folded and Tollerene called to see the [Qs8h5h] flop.
He then saw a lead of 30,000 from Peters and called.
The [4d] fell on the turn and Peters bet again, this time cutting out 40,000. Tollerene burned an extension and then called to see the [5d] complete the board.

Sam Greenwood managed to get one double after being left with 1,000 chips, but the Canadian couldn’t spin one big blind into much else. Greenwood was recently eliminated with a few minutes left in Level 2 and it remains to be seen if he will re-enter.

Badziakouski Not “Getting Away” From Greenwood

Mikita Badziakouski and Sam Greenwood just played the biggest pot of the tournament on Table 2.
Action was picked up with just over 33,000 in the middle and Badziakouski checked from the big blind on [9c6h5d].
Greenwood bet 10,000 and the Belarusian called to see the [Th] fall on the turn.
Badziakouski checked again and Greenwood bet for a second time – dropping 36,000 over the line.
The [4d] completed the board and the big blind checked for a third time. A third barrel quickly followed, as Greenwood almost emptied the clip. He bet 107,500 and left 1,000 behind. Badziakouski had around 135,000 behind and he went into the tank, before using an extension to give himself more time.
As he did at last night’s PokerGO final table, Badziakouski talked his way through the hand. He quickly ran through combos he beat, combos he didn’t, and eventually, he said, “I think I have to put it in.” before adding, “I’m not getting away from you.”
A few seconds later, he called and Greenwood tabled [Qd8d]. Badziakouski turned over [KcTc] and top pair took an over 375,000 chip pot.
