Three Tables, Three Big Stacks

As Event #2 of the British Poker Open heads into Level 2, three players have separated themselves from the rest of the pack through the first 30 minutes of play.
The biggest of those stacks belongs to Sam Soverel. The reigning High Roller of the Year winner retook the 2019 points lead this summer and while he has yet to add to that total in London, the Pot Limit Omaha expert could do some damage with an early 220,000 chip stack.
While Soverel has loads of High Roller Triple Crown experience, the other two early chip leaders do not.
Anton Suarez and Jan Collado will try to change that over the next few hours. Both players are near double the starting stack.

Gryko Active Early
In back-to-back hands Richard Gryko just picked up some chips in the early goings of the tournament.
Hok Yiu Lee raised under the gun to 3,000 and from his direct left Gryko three-bet to 10,500 before the action folded back to Lee. Lee made the call and the flop brought out [4hJd3s] on which he check-folded to a bet of 25,000.
On the very next hand, Gryko made it 3,500 and Frank Kassela called from the button. The flop brought out [6cAs2d] and Gryko bet 3,000, Kassela called.
The turn brought the [5d] and Gryko checked to Kassela who bet 7,500. Gryko pushed forward a tall stack of purple 5,000 chips, indicating the maximum possible raise. The dealer announced the raise was to 38,500 and Kassela called.
On the river, the [9s] hit and Gryko moved all in for roughly 55,000 and with a few seconds left on the clock Kassela folded.
