Chidwick Clips Geilich to Challenge for Chip Lead
Stephen Chidwick has gone from busting the £10K Pot Limit Omaha final table to registering the £10K No Limit Hold’em event, and back to the registration cage – but now he’s near the top of the Event #3 leaderboard after doubling through Ludovic Geilich in a huge pot.
Geilich raised to 17,000 and Cary Katz called in the cutoff before Chidwick shoved for just over 175,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Geilich eventually called, which forced Katz out and the cards to their backs.
Chidwick held [QdJd] and needed to hit against the partypoker pro’s [8d8h]. He did, doubling as the board ran out [Jc4d2c5s5c] to give the inaugural U.S. Poker Open champion one of the top stacks heading towards the dinner break.

Peters Puts Behbehani Under Pressure
Players receive three time extensions in each British Poker Open event and Salman Behbehani just used two on the river against David Peters.
With the board reading [Th7d5c8dKc], Peters shoved for his last 75,000 and that total represented a majority of Behbehani’s stack.
After 30 seconds in the tank, Behbehani used a time extension and then another. Close to two and a half minutes went by before Behbehani conceded the pot, but not before looking to Peters for any clues.
Peters gave nothing away, pushing his cards to the dealer while Behbehani continued to wonder.

The river completed the board with the [Jh] and Chidwick moved all in for his last 48,000 and Lehr called right away showing [4h4d] for quads. Chidwick flashed his [ThTc] and he walked straight back to the cashier to buy back into this event.
