Cary Katz just raised to 4,000 from the cutoff and Sergi Reixach three-bet from the button to 12,000. Katz made the call and the flop brought out [7c4c9d] on which Katz checked.
Reixach bet the flop and Katz quickly moved all in which was immediately called. Katz had Reixach covered by just a few thousand chips as he was all in for 79,000.
Katz: [4s7c]
Reixach: [KhKs]
The board ran out [5s], [Td] and Reixach was knocked out, seemingly headed for the cashier to re-enter this event.
“That’s what you get for raising with that s***,” Katz joked as the entire table started laughing, Reixach included.

The board showed [KhTc6c7s] when Elio Fox checked from the big blind to Joao Vieira on the button. Vieira bet 17,500 and Fox check-raised to 37,000.
Vieira tanked for a while before making the call and the river was the [As].
Fox checked on the river and Vieira bet 36,000 leaving himself with just 2,000 chips. Fox made the call and Vieira tabled [QsJc] for a straight and he raked in nearly a full double up.

Fox Shoves, Shows One
The players are on their first break of the day and just before that recess, Elio Fox shoved on Joao Vieira.
With the board reading [Jc5c5hTcAs], Vieira bet 19,000 from the big blind. Fox, who was in the hijack, took a few moments before moving effectively all-in for 75,000.
Vieira didn’t seem too concerned Fox had left himself a single 500 value chip behind, instead focusing on his own stack and his time extensions. He used one, cut down his stack, and eventually folded just before he was forced to use another.
After the Portuguese pro folded he shot Fox a glance and after a few words, Fox said his opponent could, “Pick one.”
Vieira motioned to one of the cards and Fox showed the [Kh].

Anson Tsang has remained active on Table 2, but this time the river wasn’t as kind to the Hong Kong bracelet winner.
Action was picked up on the [Ac9h2h] flop, with Tsang check-raising Ludovic Geilich’s button bet of 5,000 to 19,000.
The partypoker pro called to see the [4d] fall on the turn and called again after Tsang bet another 18,000.
The [6s] completed the board and after Tsang checked, Geilich bet 3,500. The small bet drew an interest look from Tsang, who eventually called only to see Geilich table [Ad6d].
Whether Tsang had his opponent beat until the river is unknown, but we do know that Tsang no longer holds the Event #3 chip lead. That early honor belongs to Mike Watson, who is pacing the field from Table 1.

One Level, Three Eliminations
The first half-hour period of Event #3 brought three eliminations, with one occurring on each table.
Sam Greenwood and Ali Imsirovic busted mid-way through Level 1, before Jake Schindler fell to Anson Tsang on Table 2.
That action was picked up with the board reading [Jc8d3d7s], after Schindler got all-in holding [AcAs] to Tsang’s [KsJs].
Schindler looked poised to quickly double, but Tsang ripped the [Jh] on the river to score the elimination.
While Greenwood and Schindler have yet to re-enter, Imsirovic is back in action on Table 3.
