Hok Yiu Lee moved all in for 238,000 and Cary Katz made the call.
Lee: [KdJs]
Katz: [TcTs]
“That’s about the best you could’ve hoped for,” Katz said to Lee who was looking for some help.
The board ran out [QhKdAd7hJc] and Lee was eliminated in eighth place.
There is now a redraw for the final seven players. Play will continue until there are five players remaining.

Flink Busts Lebedev, One From Final Table
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/09/c5e8f1ab-sergey-lebedev_british-poker-open_ata_3540.jpg)
Robert Flink is inching closer to the chip lead and Event #4 is inching closer to the final table.
That’s because the Swede just busted Sergey Lebedev with pocket aces. The Russian open shoved his short stack and Flink re-shoved with [AxAx]. Lebedev held [KxQx] and could not connect to stay alive.
If Flink is able to make the £10K Short Deck final table, he will become the second player to make two final tables through the first four events of the British Poker Open – the first being Sam Soverel.

Sam Soverel busted to Sam Greenwood and then a few hands later, the Canadian conceded the chip lead to Cary Katz.
Action was picked up after Katz raised to 91,000 from the button and Greenwood called to see the [Ac9s8c] flop.
Both players checked and Greenwood bet 70,000 after the [Th] fell on the turn.
Katz took some time before raising to 255,000 and after Greenwood called – the leaders of Event #4 went to the river.
The [Qd] brought checks from both seven-figure stacks and Katz tabled [7d6s].
As Katz collected the pot, Greenwood asked if Katz checked the nut straight back on the flop. The new chip leader laughed, before reminding the table that flopping the nuts in Short Deck doesn’t guarantee you anything.
Katz isn’t guaranteed a second British Poker Open cash yet either, but he is the chip leader two spots from the final table.

Cary Katz Clips Stephen Chidwick

Stephen Chidwick will have to wait another day to record the third cash of his British Poker Open after being eliminated by Cary Katz.
Action was picked up after Chidwick shoved just over 190,000 from the button. After a few folds from early limpers Katz called and tabled [QhQd].
The short stack held [AsJs] and even though Chidwick picked up a decent amount of outs on the turn, he was sent packing after the [Ks8c7c8sJh] runout.
As Chidwick exited, Katz was back over seven-figures

Greenwood Gets Paid, Badziakouski Busts

Big hands played out on both tables early in Level 10.
First, three players saw a [8d7c6s] flop on Table 2 before Cary Katz bet 32,000 from the button.
Chin Wei Lim, who was in the big blind, check-called and Sam Greenwood did the same from the hijack.
The [Qd] drew three checks on the turn and Lim checked again after the [Td] completed the board.
Greenwood took close to his entire time bank before betting 125,000 and after Katz quickly folded, Lim took a quick tank of his own.
Eventually, he called – only to see Greenwood table [Jc9d]. The straight was good and almost immediately after that hand concluded, Mikita Badziakouski was eliminated.
The Belarusian was put all-in by Robert Flink on the river of [AhQh7c6dQs]. Badziakouski called for his final 105,000 and his [As9h] was no good, as Flink tabled [9h8d] for a straight.
Flink and Greenwood are now the only players over 1,000,000, with Cary Katz rounding out the British Poker Open Short Deck Big Three.
