Germany Enters Late

After bubbling last night’s £10K NLH event in brutal fashion, Koray Aldemir is back for Event #4.
Aldemir just took a seat at Table 2 and countryman Rainer Kempe joined Table 1.
This is Kempe’s first British Poker Open appearance of the series and while neither have opened their London accounts this week – they are two of the most consistent players in High Roller Triple Crown history.

Dream Flop Delivers Triple Up for Danny Tang

After Sergey Lebedev called the double ante for 10,000, Danny Tang moved all in for roughly 140,000. Sam Greenwood moved all in over the top and when it folded back to Lebedev, he called all in for a little more than Tang had left.
Tang: [KsTs]
Lebedev: [JsJh]
Greenwood: [AcQh]
The board ran out [AhTcTd8c6s] and Tang tripled up while Greenwood nearly broke even by busting Lebedev who grabbed himself a reload chip to stay in action.

Badziakouski: [AsQh]
The board ran out [Ks8d9hKdKc] and Flink raked in a bit pot to put him on 780,000 chips. Badziakouski threw in a reload chip to receive another 100,000 after this hand ended.

Chidwick: [Ac9s]

Greenwood Doubles Through Soverel

Sam Soverel could be working towards his third final table of the series, but he just took a small hit against Sam Greenwood.
The back-to-back British Poker Open runner-up held [QcQs] and needed to hold against Greenwood’s [Ah9h]. He did through the [TsTc8c] flop, but couldn’t fade the turn as the [Ad] paired Greenwood. The [Td] completed the board and the double.

Katz Gets There

On a board reading [As8c9cQh] Cary Katz bet 18,000 and Stephen Chidwick raised to 50,000. Katz didn’t seem too pleased but eventually he made the call.
The river completed the board with the [Ts] and Katz pushed his final 21,000 into the pot. Chidwick called and Katz said, “I got there,” showing [Ks7s] for the nut flush.
“I can’t beat that,” Chidwick smiled as Katz secured a much needed double up.
