It’s early, but there is a new chip leader in Event #5 and it is partypoker pro Mikita Badziakouski.
The Belarusian just busted Ben Heath in a pre-flop collision to jump Stephen Chidwick on the leaderboard.
Action was picked up with Kahle Burns opening to 5,500 from the button. Badziakouski three-bet to 20,000 from the small and Heath shoved for just under 175,000 from the big.
Burns quickly released and Badziakouski got a count before using an extension. He eventually called and was glad he did, holding [AdQh] to Heath’s [AhJh].
The better broadway hand held and Badziakouski took the pot.
As he was stacking his chips, Michael Addamo, Steve O’Dwyer, and Michael Zhang hit the rail.
