Sam Greenwood Doubles Through Christoph Vogelsang
With so many talented Greenwoods and Vogelsang’s it was Sam and Christoph who were all-in pre-flop, with Greenwood, the aggressor, needing to hit with his [KhQh] called by Vogelsang’s [3s3h].
The flop of [2sQc8h] saw Greenwood take the lead in the hand and the turn of [Qs] gave him trips. Vogelsang needed the
The river of [4h] saw Greenwood double up and Vogelsang has taken an early hit to his stack at this final table.

David Peters bet 18,000 and both Sam Greenwood and Charlie Carrel both called.
The three players saw a flop of [2hJhAc] and Charlie Carrel had the best of with [AdJc], although David Peters hand of [QsTs] was sniffing around for a hint of Broadway. Carrell bet 18,000 and that snuffed out Sam Greenwood’s interest with the [8d4d].
David Peters, however, made the call.
The turn of [Kc] saw Peters make the nuts and with Carrel sitting behind just 219,000 with 102,000 in the middle, Carrel bet 65,000.
Peters stared at the felt while Carrel eyeballed the American, but Peters just called.
The river of [5h] was no help to Carrel, but he moved all-in and when he called it off, Peters vaulted to 51% of the chips in play, with now just six players remaining following Carrel’s departure.

Peters Slow Plays Aces
Sam Greenwood raised to 20,000 with [7s7c] and David Peters just called with [AdAc]. With Sam Greenwood currently out of timebanks, the flop came [Ah6c4s] and both men checked.
Greenwood bet 15,000 on the [3d] turn and was called by David Peters. The river of [4c] saw Peters take it down and add to his chip lead. Greenwood, though he lost the hand, might be happy to have lost so little.

Eibinger Doubles Through Peters
With seven players left and only three being paid, players are clearly in that zone of wanting to accumulate enough chips to make the money and not doing anything out of line that might jeopardise their potential to run deep.
Of the early movers, Matthias Eibinger has been most aggressive, moving all-in for 122,000 with [AcTc] over the raise from Ali Imsirovic. Imsirovic folded, but David Peters had woken up with [KsKc] and made the call.
The flop of [JcAh6h] saw Eibinger spike that ace, and through the [3h] turn and [5s] river, he doubled up through Peters in stunning fashion.
The Austrian had started play sixth in chips of the seven remaining players, but he’s off to a great start.

Ali Imsirovic raised to 15,000 in early position and Charlie Carrel shoved all in for 225,000 from the button. Cary Katz called all in from the big blind for his last 61,000, and Imsirovic folded.
Katz: [QsJs]
Carrel: [3d3c]

The turn of the [4d] gave Carrel outs to diamonds and a three, and when the river produced the [3s], Katz would be eliminated in eighth place.

The Event #9 final table big stack just got bigger after winning a massive pot to eliminate Stephen Chidwick.
Ali Imsirovic opened the cutoff to 12,000 and after Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 55,000 from the small, chip leader David Peters called in the big. Imsirovic folded and Chidwick bet 30,000 after the [Kc8h7d] fell on the flop.
Peters called and after the [3d] came on the turn, both players checked to see the [9c] complete the board.
Chidwick checked for a second time and after using two time extensions, Peters shoved.
He had his opponent well covered and it was time for Chidwick to use two extensions, as he sat in the tank behind 240,000~.
Eventually, Chidwick called and Peters tabled [AhAs]. Chidwick flashed [TxTx] and he was eliminated, while Peters is now playing over 1,000,000.

Mikita Badziakouski opened to 14,000 and Sam Greenwood shoved his final 44,000 from the button.
The blinds folded and the Belarusian called to try to send the short stack to the rail.
He couldn’t, as the board ran out [TcTh7h2c9s] with Greenwood’s [6h6d] holding against [QsJs].
Badziakouski is still above an average stack, while Greenwood is now over ten bigs.
