Two Hands, One Elimination
Sam Greenwood just lost back-to-back hands to bust.
First, Greenwood checked the [JcJs4h] flop and Ali Imsirovic continued for 4,000. Greenwood check-raised to 12,500, before Imsirovic re-raised to 27,000.
Greenwood called and then check-called 20,000 after the [Jh] came on the turn.
The [5c] completed the board and after Greenwood checked, Imsirovic moved all-in. The Canadian thought and almost used a time extension before he folded to leave himself with around 75,000~.
In the very next hand, Greenwood three-bet the button to 13,000 after Charlie Carrel opened the cutoff to 4,500.
Carrel called and then checked the [Qc5h4c] flop. Greenwood continued for 8,000 and Carrel quickly raised to 22,000.
Greenwood used a time extension before shoving. Carrel snap called and needed his [QhJd] to hold against [AhKs].
It did, as the board ran out clean for top pair and Carrel scored the knockout.
