The 2021 World Series of Poker concluded just prior to Thanksgiving, while the final series of ARIA High Rollers played out from inside the PokerGO Studio. Michael Addamo was again a big mover as he closed the gap on Ali Imsirovic by winning his fourth WSOP bracelet in the $100k High Roller. Imsirovic managed to cash in sixth-place in the $50,000 High Roller, but followed that by winning the $25k High Roller at Seminole this week to extend his lead over Addamo and win an unprecedented 14th high roller title for 2021.
Both Sam Soverel and Chris Brewer climbed into fourth and sixth-place on the PokerGO Tour presented by Guaranteed Rate leaderboard. Soverel finished third in the $100,000 High Roller and collected a cash in an ARIA High Roller, while Brewer finished fifth in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship before winning the final ARIA High Roller.
The other big movers on the PokerGO Tour presented by Guaranteed Rate leaderboard following the conclusion of the WSOP were Daniel Negreanu and Koray Aldemir. Negreanu had a massive series that saw him finish third in the 2021 WSOP Player of the Year standings behind Josh Arieh and Phil Hellmuth after collecting back-to-back third-place finishes in the $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller and $50,000 High Roller. Aldemir won the WSOP Main Event that gave him 1,900 points, and following a 13th-place finish in the Seminole High Roller, he climbed into 10th place on the leaderboard.
