Alache Wins a Pot With Aces
A player in middle position raised to 50,000 and the small blind called. Big blind Oscar Alache three-bet to 180,000 and the initial raiser called. The big blind got out of the way and they continued in the heads-up pot.
The [qhth3h] flop made both players check and the [kh] was added to the board. Alache now continued with a bet of 150,000 which was called by his opponent.
The [8d] river came down and Alache fired a bet of 340,000. He was called and Alache showed [ahac] which gave him the second nuts and that was good enough to win the hand.

Romanello Busts One
Roberto Romanello didn’t start too well today, busting early. But he’s done much better on his second bullet of the day, with a pile of chips that nears three starting stacks.
Just now, we saw how Niall Farrell opened the hijack for 35,000 and Romanello called from the cutoff. The small blind shoved for 277,000 and the big blind and Farrell folded. Romanello called.
Roberto Romanello: [8d9d]
Small blind: [AdKs]
The flop of [9c3dQc] was good for Romanello and so was the [2d] on the turn that took away some of the small blind her outs. The [2s] completed the board and the small blind got up to head to the rail while Romanello started stacking.

Daniels Back In, Doubles in His First Hand
![Jacob Daniels](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2020/02/e9e9cd86-msa-2020-main-event-dia-1b-jacob-daniels1.jpg)
Jacob Daniels was seen sitting at a new table, proof enough he had bought back in for another shot at a deep run this week. It was his first hand as he had exactly 1,000,000 in front of him.
Daniels opened to 30,000 under the gun plus one and the hijack called. Mauricio Ferreira Pais three-bet from the big blind to 140,000. Daniels called, the hijack folded.
Pais bet 200,000 on [6h2sTh] and Daniels called.
The [4d] on the turn was checked by both and the [Jc] hit the river. Pais shoved and Daniels instantly called.
Pais tabled [KcKs] but that hand was no good as Daniels had [5s3s] for the turned straight. Daniels counted his stack (660,000) and doubled.
