Tommie Janssen Eliminated
Tommie Janssen, who was amongst the bigger stacks ending Day 1a but who lost aces to kings earlier today, has been eliminated.
According to table mate Freek Scholten, Janssen got it in with pocket sevens for his last 800,000 from the hijack against the button’s [AxKx]. A board of [Qx8x6x] [Jx] [Tx] crushed Janssen’s dreams of becoming the partypoker MILLIONS South America Main Event champion.

Dzivielevski and Gumz Chop After Ten Minutes
![Yuri Martins Dzivielevski](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2020/02/281edfcb-msa-2020-main-event-dia-1b-yuri-martins-1.jpg)
Fabian Gumz and Yuri Dzivielevski just played a ten-minute pot that ended up in an anti-climactic ending where they chopped it up.
Gumz raised from the hijack to 100,000 and a three-bet to 350,000 followed by Dzivielevski from the small blind. Gumz called and the two saw the [7c6s4s] flop being dealt.
Both took their time and Dzivielevski bet 225,000. He was called by Gumz and the [6h] was dealt. Both players checked to see the [4c] on the river and Dzivielevski bet all in after a minute. He covered Gumz and the bet was for approximately 750,000.
Gumz thought for a minute and one of the players at his table was done with the hand so he called the clock. The clock was denied and Gumz had time to think and he ended up calling.
Dzivielevski showed [ackh] and Gumz chopped with [ahjc].

Pick One
In a pot between Robert Heidorn (big blind) and Dzmitry Urbanovich (cutoff,) there seemed to already be around 700,000 in the middle with [9h2h5s] [Qd] [3h] showing.
Heidorn thought about it for a bit before he checked on the river. Urbanovich bet 650,000 and Heidorn reluctantly folded.
Urbanovich indicated that Heidorn was allowed to see one of his cards, and Heidorn picked the [8h].

Benitez Takes it With a Three-Bet
The player in the cutoff limped and Leo Fernandez raised to 150,000 from the button. Small blind Michael Del Vecchio called the raise by his Argentinian neighbor, but Francisco Benitez three-bet to 450,000.
The limper got out of the way and so did Fernandez and Del Vecchio. The pot was pushed to Benitez, who cashed in the $25,500 Super High Roller earlier this week.

Scholten Takes From Moscon
Freek Scholten was in a hand with Gustavo Omar Moscon where there was a 600,000 pot already and the board read [kcqd7dtc]. Moscon had checked to Scholten and the Dutchman bet 375,000. He was called and the [3d] river completed the board.
Moscon all of a sudden led out with a bet of 600,000 and Scholten was up. He thought about it for a minute before he called the bet and Moscon opened up [acts]. Scholten showed [kskh] for a set of kings which was the best hand and he won the sizeable pot.

Scholten Busts Romero
Freek Scholten got up from the table and told us how he had busted James Romero just moments ago.
Scholten had opened the low jack with [9x9x] for 90,000 and Romero had jammed for 960,000 from the button with [9c4c]. Scholten called to put Romero’s tournament life on the line. The flop brought [Ax8x3x] with two clubs but the [Ts] on the turn and [Qs] on the river were blanks.
Romero is buying back in to give it another go, Scholten said.

La Boissonniere Chipping Back Up
Canadian Charles La Boissonniere was seen with a very short stack of 320,000 when he raised all in from middle position. The big blind thought about it for a minute before folding the [ad] face up. La Boissonniere collected the chips.
A couple of hands later it folded to the small blind who limped to La Boissonniere and he checked his option. The [Jh9s2h] flop was dealt and both checked. The turn was the [kh] and it checked to La Boissonniere again who fired a small bet of 60,000 which was exactly half pot.
His opponent folded and La Boissonniere won another small pot to chip up a bit.
