Brazilian Pablo Silva Wins the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Main Event South America for $1,000,000!
Pablo Silva has won the partypoker MILLIONS South America Main Event for a cool $1,000,000. It’s by far the biggest score of his live poker tournament career, increasing his lifetime winnings almost tenfold.
Silva beat countryman Fabio Colonese heads-up. Start-of-day chipleader Daniel Rezaei finished in third after a rollercoaster day.

The final day of the partypoker MILLIONS South America started with nine remaining players all on the last table in play. For it to be called the final table, though, one person had to exit as official final tables are eight-handed. partypoker’s Dzmitry Urbanovich was the prime suspect for that role as he started the day with just four big blinds.
In reality, things would go a whole lot differently, as the Polish partypoker Team Pro doubled early and it was instead Rafael Caiaffa to go out first. The Brazilian pro shoved queen-ten into Fabian Gumz’s pocket nines and didn’t hit.
Having first doubled with jack-ten hitting a jack on the river against ace-ten, Urbanovich doubled again hitting an ace with ace-jack against jacks. When he made the nuts holding king-ten against ace-jack, Urbanovich was truly back in contention.
Pedro Medeira found himself short and made a move with king-jack. His neighbor Andres Viola looked him up with ace-queen and send the next Brazilian to the rail.
While everything had gone right for Dzmitry Urbanovich up until then, with some lucky escapes here and there, he would eventually go out in seventh place. He got it in with ace-king versus Daniel Rezaei’s pocket nines and the latter flopped quads to send the Polish partypoker pro packing.
Moments later, the biggest hand of the tournament played out between chipleader Rezaei and his neighbor Fabio Colonese. Rezaei had nines once again and once more connected on the flop as he hit a set. That same first three community cards gave Colonese a flush draw and he called all in as soon as Rezaei put him to the test. A spade on the turn gave Colonese the flush and with no board pair on the river, he found himself chipleader all of the sudden. Razaei, meanwhile, was down to five big blinds.
It wasn’t Rezaei out next, though. Instead, Sergio Luis Di Pego, who – besides getting a walk one-time – had not played a single hand, finished in sixth place for $160,000 losing pocket fours to Colonese’s queen eight.
Andres Viola, too, fell victim to Colonese. The latter got it in with a double gutshot on the turn to put Viola at risk and hit the much-needed ten on the river to make it five-handed.
Next to go was Fabian Gumz. He got it in against his roommate Daniel Razaei; the dreamed-about heads up match between the friends was not meant to be. Gumz got it in with ace-queen against ace-king and did not find a suckout.
Three-handed play was as swingy as they come with Rezaei and Silva exchanging the chiplead numerous times. Ultimately, a setup ended Daniel Rezaei‘s rollercoaster final table. After Silva opened, Rezaei looked down on pocket eights and pushed. Silva called with nines and won the hand without much of a sweat.
The heads up between the two Brazilians was a short affair. Silva had a dominating chiplead and got it in with jacks against Fabio Colonese’s eight-six. A jack-four-four flop ended it right then and there and Pablo Silva was crowned champion.

Pablo Silva limped on the button with [jhjc] and set up a perfect trap that went off when Fabio Colonese jammed all in for 60,000,000 with [8c6d]. Colonese needed to hit for his tournament life.
The flop, however, came [jd4h4d] and it was all over for Colonese while Silva jumped up. The turn was the [5h] and the river the [ks].
Colonese takes home $640,000 for his second place finish while Silva takes home the trophy and the payday of $1,000,000.

They Chop it Up
Pablo Silva ripped it all in from the button for which was effectively 62,000,000. Silva pushed with [ad5h] and big blind Fabio Colonese looked at [asqd] before he quickly called for his tournament life.
The [ahkhjh] flop gave Silva a flush draw. The [jh] set up a chop pot and the [2d] made sure they got their chips back.

Colonese Ripping it In
Fabio Colonese is the short stack at the start of the tournament and he already pushed all of his chips to the middle multiple times. He has yet to be called but he chipped up a little bit.
They removed the ante for heads-up play.

Heads-Up
Daniel Rezaei Eliminated in 3rd Place ($435,000)
Pablo Silva was first to act and found [9s9d] on his button. He raised it up to 8 million and the action was on small blind Daniel Rezaei. The German looked down on [8c8s] and decided to shove for 139,5 million.
Fabio Colonese had [Qh5h] in the big blind and folded. Silva, though, tanked a bit and ultimately called.
The 285,000,000-pot started with a [Ad3dTc] flop, good for Silva. After the [6d] on the turn, Rezaei only had a single out left in the deck. It wasn’t going to hit as the [3s] completed the board.
A rollercoaster day for Rezaei ended in third place, good for $435,000. The remaining two players are guaranteed $640,000 and play for the $1,000,000 first-place prize.

Double Check-Raise For Silva
Daniel Rezaei raised to 6,000,000 with [8c7s] from the button and big blind Pablo Silva called with [kd9c].
The flop fell [7c6s6c] and Silva checked to Rezaei and he bet 3,000,000. Silva check-raised to 11,000,000 and Rezaei called.
The turn was the [kh] and Silva checked again to Rezaei. The Austrian bet 8,000,000 and Silva went for the check-raise again to 30,000,000. Rezaei called again to see the [5h] river.
Both players checked this time and Silva showed down the winner.

Rezaei Regains the Lead
Pablo Silva limped in from the small blind with [Qc2s] and Daniel Rezaei checked [9s4s] in the big. The flop came [9h4c5c] and Silva checked. Rezaei bet 4 million with his flopped two pair and Silva check-raised to 16 million. Rezaei called in position.
The [3c] on the turn saw Silva bet 35 million into the 39.5 million pot. Rezaei called and saw the pot grow to 109.5 million.
The [9d] on the river had Silva check. Rezaei tanked for a bit, used a time extension card, and eventually decided to bet 50 million. Silva instantly folded.

Silva in the Lead
Pablo Silva raised to 6,000,000 from the button and small blind Daniel Rezaei three-bet to 23,000,000. Big blind Fabio Colonese folded but Silva called.
Silva hit top pair on the [kh5d3s] flop with his [kcjc] while Rezaei had just ace-high with [ad8s]. Rezaei continued with a bet of 12,000,000 and he was called.
The turn was the [ts] and both checked to see the [9s] complete board on the river. Rezaei checked again and Silva bet a chunky 40,000,000.
Rezaei got out of the way but lost some chips.
