Mathis Finishes the Job
Francisco Benitez raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Marcelo Bonannata three-bet to 305,000 as he put the remainder of his stack in the middle. Small blind Marty Mathis doubled through Bonannata a few hands ago and he was determined to finish the job as he four-bet to 550,000. Benitez folded and they opened up.

Mathis Doubles Through Bonannata

Hallaert Eliminated
Kenny Hallaert entered the tournament in the last break, but he won’t be around for the next unless he decides to reenter. According to Jacob Daniels, Hallaert first lost a flip with pocket sevens against the ace-jack of Brunno Botteon De Albuquerque getting counterfeited by the board. The remainder of his chips he lost to Joao Simao with ace-queen not improving against his neighbor’s pocket eights.

Big Double for Martinac
Jacob Daniels was the one to open under the gun and Antonio Martinac on the button called.
The flop of [7sKdJd] saw Daniels bet 50,000 and Martinac raised to 150,000. Daniels called.
The [3s] on the turn saw both players check and Daniels bet 310,000 on the [3c] river that paired the board. Martinac thought for just a bit before he moved all in for 915,000.
