Unavoidable action preflop as it folded round to Luke Reeves on the button holding [AcKs], who raised to 125,000. Small blind Kristen Bicknell looked at her cards and paused for a moment before three-betting to 500,000. Back to Reeves who moved-in fairly rapidly for 2,395,000 total. Bicknell called just as swiftly and nodded while turning over her [QdQs].
The flop brought Reeves a gutshot to go with his overcards (which Bicknell blocked): [tcjh7c]. A queen did fall on the turn, and a king the river, doubling Reeves and dropping Bicknell to 1.5 million chips.

Ben Cherif With the Double
Rachid Ben Cherif opened the cutoff for 120,000, and Kristoffer Hansson on the button called.
Ben Cherif check-called a bet of 85,000 on [KhQdJc], and another 255,000 on the [3d] turn.
The river came the [4s] and Ben Cherif checked a third time. Hansson ran his clock down while playing with his 500,000-chips and used a time extension card to make up his mind. With ten seconds left, he announced all in. Ben Cherif beat him to the pot committing the last of his 465,000 in chips.

Down to Sixty Today
The floor just confirmed that the goal of the day is to play down to 60 players total, stopping right after today’s bubble bursts. The sixty survivors will be joined by the 16 players that played their way to Day 3 via the partypoker online element of this event, making for a total of 76 players in action on Day 3. Right now, 134 remain so another 74 players will still go home empty-handed today.
Timely Double for Fox
Nathan Watson opened to 125,000, called by James Sathiakiri in the cutoff. Button – and shortish stack – Stuart Fox looked down at [acah] and moved all in for 860,000. Watson, with [Adqd], reshoved which got Sathiakiri out of the way quickly.
Watson flopped a gutshot and backdoor flush draw with [kc7htd] but neither came in over the [6c4s] turn and river.

Raemaekers With the Easy Call
After an open to 125,000 and a three-bet to 310,000, Joep Raemaekers cold four-bet to 650,000 from the big blind. The initial raiser gave up but the hijack called.
Raemaekers and his opponent in the hijack both checked on the [7d7c8h] flop and [As] turn before the [Js] completed the board. Raemaekers bet 450,000 and saw his opponent shove for about 900,000 total. Raemaekers instantly called with [AhAd] and his opponent frustratedly mucked his [Qs9s] before exiting the tournament area.

Lampropulos With the Surprise River Raise
Maria Lampropulos opened for 150,000 under the gun plus one and picked up Linton Reid (small blind) and Iwan Jones (big blind) to see a flop.
All three checked the flop of [3d4c4h] and the [Kd] turn. The [8s] completed the board and Reid checked. Jones bet 150,000 and Lampropulos raised to 700,000. Reid got out of the way instantly and Jones eventually followed suit.

Fellone Expresses Elevated Heartrate
A three-way pot stayed that way up to the river. On the turn, the board stood [7cjhqcas]. Big blind Nicholas Fellone checked and under the gun (initial raiser, necessarily) Timothy Vukson bet 320,000. Over to an in-position Georgy Phillippovich who made the call, as did Fellone after thinking long enough to toss in a timebank card.
The river: [5c]. Now Fellone led out 1,200,000 (leaving himself one red 500,000 chip behind) and pulled his hoody up and hat down. Both of his opponents folded and he scooped the pot, tapping his chest repeatedly to show that his outward stillness had not reflected his adrenaline levels.

Bryan Piccioli opened under the gun plus one for 125,000 and picked up two heavy-weight poker pros to see a flop in Joao Vieira (hijack) and Jaoa Simao (big blind).
The flop came [QcTc5c] and Simao and initial-raiser Piccioli checked. Vieira bet 230,000 and Simao called, Piccioli folded.
The [8s] hit the turn and now Simao led for 375,000. Vieira called.
With the [Qd] completing the board, Simao used a time extension card before betting a hefty 1,575,000. Vieira used a time bank card of his own before open folding [QsKs].
