Faraz Jaka Eliminated
Minutes before the first break of the day, Faraz Jaka hit the rail. Having played his way to Day 3 online, Jaka didn’t start out with too many chips and the first two levels weren’t kind to him either. Down to a relatively short stack, he shoved [3x3x] only to run into a player with [AxKx] with the latter hitting.

On the live-streamed feature table, World Series of Poker Main Event champion Hossein Ensan just lost the last of his chips. With Sam Grafton opening before him, Ensan shoved for his last sixteen big blinds in late position. Patrick Leonard woke up with [AxKx] behind him and over shoved for 40 big blinds effectively, Grafton folded. Ensan showed [KxJx] and picked up a gutshot but bricked to go out in 52nd place for $25,000.

Preflop, Niall Farrell opened under the gun to 400,000. His neighbour Carlos Chadha made the call, as did big blind Nicholas Romanello. On the flop of [4c7cjd], Romanello and Farrell checked; Chadha bet 750,000 and Farrell alone made the call. The turn brought the [3s] and another check-call from Farrell, this time for 1,500,000. The river was the [qh]. A swift check from Farrell was followed by a bet from Chadha with four seconds left on his clock – 2,000,000.
Farrell riffled for a short while, but passed in the end.

Gonzalez Making a Comeback
After his earlier costly confrontation with Anton Suarez, Fabrizio Gonzalez’s new table has seen him build back some of his stack – although not quite to the 11 million with which he started the day.
He saw a heads up flop of [jsas7c] with big blind Per Siden (having raised preflop to 420,000). Siden check-called his 265,000 bet, saw the [7h] turn, then declined to call his further 510,000 bet.
