Welcome to the Baha Mar Casino in Nassau, Bahamas, for Day 1A of the $10,300 buy-in MILLIONS World Bahamas Main Event as part of the partypoker LIVE Caribbean Poker Party.
The Caribbean Poker Party has long been established as one the prominent poker stops in the region giving players the unique opportunity to have the holiday of a lifetime on the gorgeous Bahamas beaches, while also having the chance to win millions of dollars. After kicking off the Caribbean Poker Party with the 51-entrant Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas that was won by Canadian Daniel Dvoress for $4,080,000 in prize money, players will now focus on the marquee event of the Caribbean Poker Party that consists of 17 events from November 15 – 23.

The MILLIONS World Bahamas Main Event features a $10 million guaranteed prize pool that will feature two Day 1 starting flights. Last year the Main Event was a $5,300 buy-in that attracted a total of 1,815 entrants as 223 players finished in the money. It would be Portugal’s Filipe Oliveira defeating Craig Mason heads-up to win the $1.5 million first-place prize to see his career tournament earnings increase by roughly 15 times.
For this year’s MILLIONS World Bahamas Main Event, there will be two Day 1 starting flights on Tuesday and Wednesday. Players will begin with 1,000,000 in starting chips and play eight 60-minute levels on Day 1 with no scheduled dinner break. Players are allowed a re-entry on the next day, and registration is open through the first two levels on Day 2 ending at approximately 2:20 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, November 21. There were also two partypoker online flights where surviving players will return in-the-money on Day 3. A total of 71 entries were reduced to 10 players at the end of the online flights with Nino Ullmann the chip leader with 16,467,791 in chips while the likes of Nick Marchington (8.7 million), Stefan Schillhabel (5.1 million), and Thomas Boivin (1.2 million) also survived into Day 3.

Day 1 of the MILLIONS World Bahamas Main Event is set to begin at 12 p.m. (ET) with Poker Central providing continuous live updates throughout the entire event, and the remainder of the Caribbean Poker Party. Along with the Poker Central live updates from the floor of the Baha Mar Casino, PokerGO coverage will begin at 12 p.m. (PT) / 3 p.m. (ET) on Day 1A and 1B, and then 10 a.m. (PT) / 1 p.m. (ET) from Day 2 onwards.
