One Elimination, One Double on Table 3
Todd Ivens was all-in for the big blind and three players from Table 3 tried to score the knockout.
The [Kd8s4d] came on the flop and Dan Shak bet 6,000 from the blinds. Cary Katz called and Stephen Chidwick folded to send three players – two with chips behind – to the turn.
The [8h] paired the board and both players checked, before they tapped the table again after the [3h] completed the board.
Shak tabled [KhQs] and Katz folded before Ivens sent his hand into the muck as well.
A few hands later, Katz was all-in and at risk for his tournament life against Bob Zeidman. That action was picked up with the board reading [Kd6d3h7h] and Katz shoving for 35,500. Zeidman called with [KhJs] but he needed help against [AhAd].
The [3d] completed the board and the double to move Katz back near starting.

Linde Calls Leng Down with Doyle’s Favorite Hand
Ryan Leng just raised under the gun to 4,500 and Dylan Linde called from the big blind. The flop brought out [6c4dTs] and Linde check-called a bet of 11,500.
The turn brought the [Qh] and Linde checked again. This time Leng fired out 30,500 and after a pause, Linde called.
The board was completed on the river with the [6s] and Linde checked a third time. Leng moved all in to put Linde at risk for his final 95,500 chips. After 45 seconds, Linde made the call and Leng showed [Ah9h]. Linde tabled [Td2d] and he raked in the pot.

Big Stacked Blumstein Busts Hunichen
After doubling through Randall Emmett earlier and then moving tables, Scott Blumstein returned to Table 3 and is now on one of the biggest stacks in the room.
Blumstein just busted Chris Hunichen, who returned from break with one of the top stacks. Hunichen opened to 4,500 from under the gun and Yuri Dzivielevski three-bet to 13,500 as the next player to act.
The table folded to Blumstein, who four-bet to 42,000 from the small. Jorryt van Hoof got out of the way in the big and Hunichen asked for a count of Dzivielevski’s stack before he moved all-in for just under 100,000.
Dzivielevski folded and Blumstein called – holding [KsKd] to [JcJs]. The board ran out clean for the bigger pocket pair and Blumstein is now behind over 350,000.

Over the last 15 minutes, four new players have entered Event #1 – including British Poker Open champion Sam Soverel.
Tom Marchese, Sean Winter, and Calvin Anderson joined Soverel as late entrants midway through Level 4.
Soverel is seated with Jeremy Ausmus, Jesse Sylvia, and Barry Hutter on Table 7, while Marchese and Anderson are together on Table 6. They’re joined by Ricky Guan, Byron Kaverman, and Randall Emmett – with Winter on Table 5 with defending Poker Masters champion Ali Imsirovic.

Jorryt van Hoof Doubles Through Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen was one of the top stacks coming back from break and while he is still above starting, Jorryt van Hoof just doubled in one of the biggest pots of the day.
van Hoof opened and Hunichen three-bet to 14,000. When the table folded back around, van Hoof shoved for 97,500.
Hunichen got a count and then inspected his own stack before saying, “I’m supposed to fold here, but I don’t think I am.”
Eventually he called and it was a flip – with Hunichen holding [AdJs] to van Hoof’s [ThTs].
Hunichen hit a pair on the flop, but was drawing drawing dead by the turn after the 2014 WSOP Main Event podium finisher hit a set on the [JcTd6d9h9s] runout.

Aram Zobian Shoves Against Ankush Mandavia
As the rest of the players exited the tournament area, Aram Zobian and Ankush Mandavia played into the break on Table 3.
Mandavia checked the [Ah3s2c] flop and Zobian bet 2,500 – only to see Mandavia respond with a raise to 6,500.
Zobian called and both players checked the [2s] on the turn, before Mandavia also checked the [Tc] on the river.
Zobian thought for a few moments and then pushed all but one 1,000 chip into the middle. Mandavia quickly released and the entire Event #1 field is now on their first break of the day.
