Sean Winter Eliminates Ali Imsirovic With Aces
Byron Kaverman opened to 10,000 and Ali Imsirovic three-bet shoved from the small blind for just under 200,000.
Sean Winter asked for a count in the big blind, before calling to put Imsirovic at risk. Kaverman got out of the way and the defending Poker Masters champion was down to two outs – holding [7c7d] to [AcAs].
The pocket aces held and when the dust settled, Winter stacked up over 800,000 – good for the early Event #1 chip lead.
