Two Short Doubles
In back-to-back hands, two of the shortest stacks remaining in Event #1 found doubles.
First, Bob Zeidman doubled through Joseph Orsino – winning with [AhQc] against [KdJd] for his final 56,000. Sam Soverel opened the action to 25,000 and Orsino three-bet to 75,000 from the cutoff before Zeidman moved all-in for less from the button.
Soverel eventually folded and Zeidman won after the [5c4d2h2dQs] runout.
Across the room, Sean Winter opened to 24,000 and Scott Blumstein three-bet to 70,000 before Lauren Roberts four-bet shoved from the blinds for 91,000.
Winter folded and Blumstein called – holding [KcQh] to Roberts’ [KhKd]. Pocket kings improved to a flush and Roberts doubled to get back over 20 big blinds.
