Jake Daniels Tops Event #3 for $200,000 Win

The third tournament winner of the 2022 PokerGO Cup series is Jake Daniels. On Saturday, Daniels took first place in Event #3: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em for a $200,000 score. Daniels topped a field of 80 entries to get the win.
Daniels entered the final day of play fourth in chips with six players remaining. He knocked out Michael Wang in seventh place at the end of Day 1 and then went on to knock out every other player at the final table on Saturday, which included a double knockout of Chris Moorman and Sean Winter.
The double-elimination hand happened with five players remaining. Daniels had ace-king and was up against Moorman with ace-queen and Winter with ace-five. Daniels was already the chip leader at the start of the hand and extended his lead even further with this pot.
Daniels then went on to defeat Jeremy Ausmus in heads-up play to win the $200,000 top prize.

The third event of the 2022 PokerGO Cup drew 80 entries. The prize pool was $800,000, with the top 12 finishers placing in the money.
