Welcome back to the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, for Day 2 of the $50,000 Super High Roller.
The record-setting 42-entrant field on Wednesday created a prize pool of over $2 million that saw some of the best high roller players take part. Over 30 unique entrants entered throughout the day as the likes of Alex Foxen, Ali Imsirovic, Darren Elias, Erik Seidel, Chris Hunichen, Dan Smith, Jake Schindler, and Jason Mercier all found themselves on the rail before the final table of eight was set.
Unfortunately for Aaron Van Blarcum, he would be eliminated on the money bubble after losing a race, and shortly after that, Ilyas Muradi fell in seventh-place before Day 1 ended with just six players remaining who were all guaranteed $112,035 in prize money.
Sitting on top heading into Day 2 is Chris Brewer who amassed a chip stack of 1,640,000 to be slightly ahead of Seth Davies who bagged 1,520,000 in chips. Sam Soverel sits third with 1,145,000 in chips, while Sean Winter, Jeremy Ausmus, and Arthur Conan round out the final table.
