Jake Schindler Leads the Final Four of Event #6: $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em

Jack Schindler eliminated Vikenty Shegal in over a one million chip pot to burst the money bubble, claim the chip lead and set the stage for the final table of Event #6: $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em.
With both players hovering around 500,000 chips, Schindler opened the button to 27,000, and Shegal called the big blind. The flop fell [Jc6c4s], and Shegal check-called a bet of 18,000 from Schindler. The turn [As] hit the felt, and Shegal again check-called a bet from Schindler this time for the tune of 70,000.
The river [Ks] completed the board Shegal checked. Schindler moved all in, and Shegal called. Shegal tabled [AdJh] for two pair, but it was not good as Schindler tabled [Qs8s] for the nut flush to eliminate Shegal and guarantee the final four a spot in Event #7: $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em.
Joining Schindler in the final four are Sean Winter, who sits in second with 911,000, Alex Foxen in third with 615,000, and Nick Petrangelo rounds out the field as the short with 514,000.
The 25-entrant field in Stairway To Millions Event #6: $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em created a prize pool of $625,000 that pays the top four spots. The remaining four players are guaranteed at least a $62,500 payout, including the $51,000 Event #7 seat, while the winner walks away with $287,500.
Other notables to finish just outside the money and miss out on the Event #7 seat included Chris Brewer in sixth place, Michael Lang in seventh, David Coleman in eighth place, and reining PokerGo Tour Champion Ali Imsirovic in ninth.
