Peters Doubles Through Elias
Cary Katz had [9s8s] and opened to 10,000. That bet was raised to 32,000 by Darren Elias with [TcTh] and David Peters moved all-in for 64,000 with [QhQd] He was called only by Darren Elias.
The flop of [JcTs4h] saw Elias hit, but the turn of [Jh] added other jack outs for Peters… none of which he needed on the [Qs] river to keep him alive!
Absolutely no reaction from Peters or Elias, save for the smooth moving of chips across the felt, but Imsirovic couldn’t help but react with an exclamation and some grinning at an extraordinary run-out.
In the next hand, Stephen Chidwick made it 11,000 with [AhQs] and Darren Elias raised to 60,000 with pocket tens. Chidwick folded ace-queen right away.
