Chidwick Edges Ahead
Stephen Chidwick has dominated periods of today’s final, and he raised to 40,000 with [Ad7s]. Christoph Vogelsang, who came into the day with the clear chip lead and is now jockeying with the Brit for supremacy, called with [6c6h].
Both men checked the [2c2sTc] flop, as well as the [Ah] – Chidwick hitting his top pair. The river [7h] saw Vogelsang check, and Chidwick was searching for value with his 180,000 bet. No call from Vogelsang, as the four men at this table continue to play an incredibly high level of poker.
This really is the best of the best playing their absolute best and it’s to their credit that this Super High Roller Bowl London title is impossible to call.

Katz Doubles Through Vogelsang
Cary Katz moved all-in for 259,000 with [7h7d] and Christoph Vogelsang made what Katz call a ‘hero call’ with [Ac9d].
“Stop rooting against me Ali, I can feel it!” joked Katz.
The board of [KsJd8c5sKd] saw Cary Katz hold, up to 542,000 chips, and he’s no longer the short-stack.

Vogelsang Moving On Up
In the second hand, Vogelsang’s raise with pocket queens to 50,000 saw Katz ditch his cards instantly into the muck. Ali Imsirovic did come along to the flop, with [9c7c], and the flop of [3c6hJc] saw Imsirovic check and Vogelsang c-bet 27,000, which Imsirovic called.
The turn card of [4] saw Imsirovic change the betting lead, betting 44,000. Vogelsang made it 130,000 and Imsirovic called to the river.
That river was the [Kd], Imsirovic missing his flush draw, and Vogelsang was encouraged to do the same, raking in the pot. Imsirovic has gone from chip leader to third in chips over the course of the past four hours or so.

Cary Katz squeezed all-in with [Ad8c] for 163,000 total and Christoph Vogelsang made the call with [Qh9h].
The flop of [6c4c8h] saw Katz hit top pair. The turn of [Td] opened up a total of 14 outs for Vogelsang. A queen, jack, nine or seven would bust Katz.
The [5h] doubled up Katz, and the Poker Central supremo and high roller has doubled right back into contention for the money.

You don’t get to be Christoph Vogelsang without making boss moves, and ‘The Tractor’ is going through the gears here at Aspers in East London.
In the first of two important hands, Vogelsang made it 32,000 with [QdQc] and Chidwick called with [Ts5h].
The flop of [4sJh6c] saw Vogelsang c-bet 50,000 and drag the pot.
Next, the German made two pair on the turn to take Imsirovic for three streets of value and leapt above the Bosnian in the counts.

Vogelsang Drops More to Imsirovic
With very little in the pot, a board of [Ah9s6d7c8s] prompted some big river action between Ali Imsirovic and Christoph Vogelsang.
Vogelsang made it 38,000 with two-pair [8h6h] and Imsirovic raised to 90,000 with the [TcTd], for the straight.
The German, having lost several hands to Chidwick recently, made a great fold, but he is now a chunk of chips behind the leaders, defined pretty clearly in the counts as Chidwick and Imsriovic.

Chidwick Check-Raises Vogelsang
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/09/2cc59355-stephen-chidwick_british-poker-open_ata_7192-1024x681.jpg)
On a board of [3d2cJhQdTd], Stephen Chidwick was put into the tank by a massive bet by Christoph Vogelsang to 150,000 with ace-five. Ace-high was all the German super high roller had, but Chidwick only had ace-deuce, beating only a bluff.
Somehow, Chidwick found a raise to 400,000 and took it down when Vogelsang folded.
Chidwick then three-bet to 100,000 with ace-jack after Vogelsang bet 25,000 with [9c8c].
The flop of [2cJdTd] saw Chidwick bet 600,000 to take it down, another superb move at just the right time. Vogelsang is being schooled here by Chidwick and yet he’s done virtually nothing wrong.
Chidwick, short-stacked a tiny amount of time ago, is a three-bet off the outright lead. Amazing.
