Vogelsang Takes a Pot; Leow Plays Five-Seven Suited Twice
Christoph Vogelsang won around 160,000 from Mikita Badziakouski having flatted the Belarusian’s preflop raise to 26,000 with [AhQs] (Badziakouski held [KsJs]), then check-calling with a flopped ace, checking through a [Jh] turn and betting a called 110,000 on the river.
Ivan Leow, with [9s7s] raised to 60,000 in the big blind after Sam Greenwood completed in the small blind (with [6s6d]). Back to Greenwood, who moved all in for 510,000, quite an increase. Leon got a count, but folded his nine-high in the end.
Leow raised with [9h7h] soon thereafter, called by blinds Mikita Badziakouski and Ben Heath with [KdJs] and [Td3d] respectively. His bet on a [2c9c7c] took that one down.

Greenwood Doubles Through Chidwick
Wai Leong Chan opened under the gun to 26,000 with [kc9c], called by Christoph Vogelsang next to act. Third to act Sam Greenwood moved in for 232,000 with [QhQd]. It folded to big blind Stephen Chidwick, who moved all in over the top for everyone’s stack. Chan and Vogelsang folded and Greenwood saw he’d have to fade the overs: Chidwick held [AdKh]. The board of [Js9h2h6cJd] brought no help for the chip leader and Greenwood, who started this nine-handed final the shortest stack by 20 big blinds, now has over half a million in front of him.

Ultimate Action Turn Card Brings Two Straights and a Set; Leow Doubles
Ben Heath started the ball rolling preflop with an under the gun open to 20,000 with [QsJs]. Timothy Adams called in position with [6h6c] and both blinds followed suit (Ivan Leow with [5d5s] and Mikita Badziadouski with [As4s]).
The flop: [4h2c3h]. Check to Adams, who bet 23,000. Leow called, Heath folded, and Badziadouski upped it to 100,000, losing neither opponent.
Turn: [5c]. What a card. Bottom straight for Badziadouski, six-high version for Adams, and a set of fives for Leow, who checked, first to act. Badziadouski also checked, and Adams bet 150,000. Back to Leow, who moved all in for his full 604,000. Badziadouski had had enough but Adams quickly called and the cards went face-up, Leow looking for a board-pair to keep him in the running on this final table.
The river: [3c]. There it was – Leow, standing up, sat back down, having almost swapped stacks with Adams who’d been vying for the lead all day.

Greenwood Takes On Chip Leader
Shortest stacked at this unofficial final table, Sam Greenwood defended his big blind with [Js8s] to a Ben Heath open preflop to 20,000 (with [Jh9h]). Both players checked the [3h8d4d] flop, on which Greenwood had made a pair of eights. Greenwood bet out 16,000 on the [Ts] turn and Heath, now with an open ended straight draw, made the call. The river brought the [8c] and an effective jam* from Greenwood; Heath quickly folded.
*There seems to be a trend here when committing stacks for players to leave a single 1,000 chip (the lowest denomination in play at this stage) behind.

Artur Martirosyan opened from the button and Mikita Badziakouski three-bet in the small blind. Martirosyan called and the dealer spread out [jhth7c] on the flop.
Badziakouski continued for 100,000, Martirosyan called and the [js] peeled off on the turn. Badziakouski checked to Martirosyan, he bet 150,000 and Badziakouski called.
The [2c] completed the board and Badziakouski checked once more to Martirosyan who pushed all in, totaling around 350,000. Badziakouski snap-called, tabling [jctc] for a boat.
Martirosyan stood up as he turned air, tabling [ac9c] and Badziakouski took down the pot to take the tournament down to the final nine.

Chidwick Continues to Addam(m)o
More chips for one of the biggest stacks still remaining in the tournament, that of Stephen Chidwick, this time the last of those still belonging to Michael Addamo. Timothy Adams had raised to 20,000 holding [kdtd], receiving three callers including neighbour Chidwick with [KcKh] and both blinds, Addamo in the small with [Ad6d].
The flop: [AcKs4s]. Three checks to Chidwick, who bet his set of kings, throwing in 22,000. Back to Addamo, who moved all in for 52,000 total; the others bowed out. It was all over by the [3d] turn (the [6s] river just lemon juice in the paper cut of defeat) and Addamo made his way to the rail.

The board read [8h7d7c9d3h] and there was around 160,000 in the pot. Christoph Vogelsang and Ivan Leow both checked to Ben Heath who bet 200,000.
Vogelsang took his time on the decision and used one time extension before throwing in a chip to call. Leow mucked and Heath tabled [jctc], for a turned straight.
Vogelsang pushed a stack to Heath as he threw his cards into the middle.
