Reixach Hoped for Triple Up; Found the Rail
Sergi Reixach found an open button and moved all in with [Kd5d] for 37,000 (six big blinds). Both small blind Vicent Bosca Ramon, with [Qh9h] and big blind Luc Greenwood, with [KhJs], made the call.
Reixach must have been delighted with his chances for a triple up as the flop of [5sKs3h] brought him top two pair, but after both blinds checked, the [Jh] turn changed everything. Bosca bet his flush draw for 70,000 and Greenwood – with the new top two – called, making the side pot bigger than the main.
The river was the [7c]. Bosca Ramon took a minute to ponder, then check-folded to Greenwood’s 80,000 bet. Reixach made a sound like, “Ohhh,” when he got the bad news that his two pair were no good.

Bryn Kenney raised in late position to 13,000 (86,000 behind) with [7c8c], then called a threebet from small blind Vicent Bosca, who held [AsKd]. The flop brought every draw imaginable for Kenney, who called when Bosca set him all in, but missed the lot of them as the turn and river brought the [Qh6s].
“Almost too many outs,” he’d said ominously.

Back to Back Queens for Koon; Second Lot Bust Soyza
Jason Koon opened to 12,000 with [QsQh], called by button Timothy Adams alone with [AdJs]. A flop of [Ah9c7s] saw Koon check-fold to a bet from Adams of 30,000.
Next hand, Koon picked up [QsQc], raised to 12,000 again, and found Michael Soyza jamming for 81,000 behind him with [AcTc]. Koon made the call and a house with the [JhJc7cjs5h] runout. Soyza’s period on the feature table has lasted all of one orbit, if that.

Reixach On “Not How You Win Chips”
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2020/03/53e6ea9d-49658186821_091da3a39c_c.jpg)
Sergi Reixach called a min-raise from Vicent Bosca Ramon on the button with [QsJs] after a call from Jason Koon (holding [KhQd] in the cutoff. All three players checked the [4hAc6s] flop, which Bosca alone had hit with his [AdQh].
The [Ks] turn brought something for both of Bosca’s opponents; this time he led out for 25,000. Koon threw away his pair of kings, while Reixach made the call. On the [Ah] river, Bosca paused for half a minute before announcing, “all in.”
Reixach folded, letting his neighbours in on the fact that, “That’s not how you win chips: call, call, fold.”
To be fair to the Spaniard, he has missed every flop and draw in the last 15 minutes, now rounding out the feature table as the short stack as it heads on a 10 minute break.
