Dominik Nitsche limped the button for 40,000 before Larry Wright shoved all in from the big blind for 630,000. Nitsche looked back at his two hole cards, then announced a call.

Wright: [as][5s]
Nitsche: [qs][qd]

Wright was at-risk and trailing, and when the dealer spread a [jd][3d][8d] flop, he was looking for one of the last aces in the deck.

The turn of the [jc] changed nothing, and when the river landed the [5d], Wright was eliminated in second place for a $75,000 payday.

Larry Wright raised his button to 80,000 and Dominik Nitsche called.

The flop landed [th][3c][qs] and Nitsche check-called a bet of 90,000 from Wright.

The turn fell the [as], and Nitsche checked to Wright who bet 150,000. Nitsche called, and both players checked the [8s] on the river.

Wright tabled his [qc][ts] for two pair, but it would be Nitsche’s [ad][3d] for a better two pair that earned him the pot.

The flop landed [qh][8h][2c] and Wright continued for 50,000 with Nitsche check-calling.

The turn is the [6s], and after another Nitsche check, Wright bet out 125,000.

Nitsche called, and then both players checked the [4s] on the river.

Nitsche tabled his [kh][8s], but it would be Wright’s [qc][8c] for two pair that earned him the pot.

The river landed the [td], and after a Nitsche check, Wright bet out 95,000. Nitsche called, and then mucked once he saw the [ts][9c] of Wright for two pair.
