Mikita Badziakouski Clips Talal Shakerchi

From under the gun, Talal Shakerchi opened to 17,000 and both Daniel Negreanu and Mikita Badziakouski called in the cutoff and small blind respectively.
The flop landed [as][2h][qs] and Shakerchi continued for 32,000. Negreanu folded, and Badziakouski check-called as the turn landed the [ad].
Badziakouski checked, Shakerchi bet 46,000, and Badziakouski check-raised to 160,000.
Shakerchi used one of his time banks and then eventually folded.
Igor Kurganov and Daniel Negreanu Trade Banter
“This is one of those spots where I’ve got to bet a little something,” said Daniel Negreanu on a board of [qd][qh][qs][4c]. “Not too much. Not too little.”
Negreanu bet 225,000 out of the small blind and Igor Kurganov called from middle position.
“I think he’s got two nines or two tens,” said Negreanu.
“We might have the same hand,” said Kurganov.
“I like that line,” said Negreanu.
The river was the [7s] and Negreanu opted to check. Kurganov checked behind. Negreanu tabled [ac][kh] and Kurganov won the pot with [9s][9h].
“I knew he had nines,” said Negreanu with a laugh. “I had planned on shoving the river. There was also part of the plan where an ace or a king comes. Would have called?”
“I would not have been happy if you shoved,” said Kurganov.
Kurganov won the pot and now has the biggest stack at the table. They are both still well behind Alex Foxen, who is the overall leader and sitting at the feature table.
Jason Koon Eliminated by Talal Shakerchi

On the turn, with the board reading [jd][6d][3d][8s], Jason Koon checked from the big blind and Talal Shakerchi bet 31,000 from middle position.
Koon moved all in for about 110,000 and Shakerchi snap-called. Koon showed [jc][8c], giving him top two pair, but needed to fill up against Shakerchi’s [ad][9d].
“It doesn’t feel like the kind of day where I’m going to make a full house here,” said Koon after the cards were tabled.
Koon was right. The [7d] came on the river and he was eliminated, while Shakerchi moved over the million chip mark.
Mikita Badziakouski Barrels the Turn Against Phil Hellmuth

Mikita Badziakouski raised from under the gun and Phil Hellmuth defended his big blind. The flop was [8s][4h][2c] and Hellmuth checked. Badziakouski bet 25,000 and Hellmuth called.
The turn was the [js] and Hellmuth checked again. Badziakouski bet 60,000 and Hellmuth folded. Hellmuth claimed he had ace-eight and asked Badziakouski to reveal his hand. Badziakouski wouldn’t budge.
“You’re going to make me wait until the stream?” asked Hellmuth.
“Who says it will be on the stream,” replied Badziakouski.
“He’s Phil Hellmuth,” said Negreanu with a laugh. “Of course it will be on the stream.
Justin Bonomo Eliminated; Alex Foxen Surging Ahead with 2.8 Million

(from the PokerGO Live Stream)
Justin Bonomo opened from under the gun to 14,000 and Isaac Haxton called in the hijack. From the button, Alex Foxen three-bet to 57,000 to put the action back on Bonomo.
Bonomo responded by moving all in for 710,000, and Haxton folded. Foxen called.
Bonomo: [ah][4h]
Foxen: [kh][ks]
Bonomo was in dominated shape against Foxen’s cowboys, and when the dealer fanned the [tc][qd][5s] flop, Bonomo would need either an ace or runner-runner to stay alive.
The turn of the [8h] left Bonomo drawing to just an ace, and when the [6s] completed the board on the river, the defending Super High Roller Bowl Champion was eliminated in 14th place in Super High Roller Bowl V.
Alex Foxen Using His Big Stack
Dan Cates raised to 12,000 in middle position holding [6d][6c] and Adrian Mateos called in the small blind with [kc][4c].

Seth Davies Eliminated to Put SHRB V Down to Two Tables

(from the PokerGO Live Stream)
Adrian Mateos raised to 14,000 in the cutoff and Seth Davies shoved all in from the small blind for 119,000. Mateos called.
Davies: [ac][8s]
Mateos: [ad][kc]
With Davies in bad shape, the [qs][jd][5s] flop changed little, but when the [ts] fell on the turn to complete Mateos’ flush, Davies would need a king for the chop or a spade for the win.
The river landed the [7h], and Davies was eliminated in 15th place from Super High Roller Bowl V.
Fedor Holz Eliminated by Daniel Negreanu

The flop was [qc][9h][2h] and Fedor Holz had 30,000 out in front of him. Holz was in the big blind and Daniel Negreanu raised to 100,000 from under the gun.
“I committed him,” said Negreanu. “He’s only got about 240,000, so I make it 100,000 and it’s the same thing as moving it all in. Because I can’t fold for 100,000.”
“Then why not move all in?” asked Dan Cates.
“I don’t know,” said Negreanu with a laugh.
Holz moved all in for 240,000 and Negreanu called. Negreanu showed [as][qh] and needed help against Holz’s [qc][2c]. The turn was the [7s] and the river was the [7h]. Negreanu counterfeited Holz’s two pair and won the pot to eliminate Holz.
